Shustoke Reservoir.

A trip today to Shustoke Reservoir and the public footpaths along the local farmers fields in the dry but cold weather. Bird species of note spotted today were Buzzard (including 2 hunting in the sky at the same time) Treecreeper, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Bullfinch, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Song Thrush, Wren, Long Tailed Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Robin, Dunnock, Starling,  a flock of 200 + Woodpigeon, Pheasant, Grey Heron, Great Crested Grebe, Little Grebe, Goosander, Teal, Pochard, Tufted Duck, and Cormorant. On the way there, at the Reservoir and on the way back, I saw a sizeable amount of Blackbirds everywhere. Even though it was brief, it was great to see the Treecreeper running up and around the tree, the spot of the day, easily. Also saw Horses, Ponies, Goats, Rams, Farmyard Ducks and Rabbits.
