A trip today to Pype Hayes Park and then onto Plantsbrook Nature Reserve. Bird species of note spotted were (a pair of) Treecreeper, Siskin, Buzzard, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Song Thrush, Reed Bunting, Wren, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Robin, Dunnock, Collared Dove, Pied Wagtail, Little Grebe, Great Crested Grebe, Cormorant and Tufted Duck. Also saw the obligatory Grey Squirrels and a big rat stealing the bird food that kind people (including myself) leave for our feathered friends.
