Slightly colder than of late, but still a great day for bird spotting, especially the water fowl, as there is a large section of water that has thawed out by the Shustoke Sailing Club and the Fly Fishing pool. Birds spotted were Pheasants (in a nearby field) Jays, Pied Wagtails, Grey Wagtails, Coal Tits, Blue Tits, Great Tits, Long Tailed Tits, Meadow Pipits, Robins, Collared Doves, Goosanders, Shovelers, Teals, Wigeons, Pochards, Tufted Ducks, Great Crested Grebes and a Little Grebe.
