RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch 2011.

Did a trial bird watch for the RSPB Big Garden Watch watch 2011. All you need is a pen, some scrap paper (or a print out from the website), and an hour to spend watching the birds in your garden on either Saturday 29, or Sunday 30 January 2011.

Then simply record the highest number of each bird species seen in your garden, or local park (not flying over) at any one time.

1 Robin, 

2 Dunnock, 

2 Blackbird,

8 House Sparrow,

10 Starling,

2 Collared Dove,

2 Woodpigeon,

2 Feral Pigeon,

1 Magpie.

I was assisted in my bird watch by Fudge, while Sukie thought she'd sleep through it all.
