Plantsbrook Nature Reserve.

Unfortunately as soon as I got to Plantsbrook and all the while I was there it didn't stop raining which wasn't ideal for birdwatching. All the same had a great view of a Great Spotted Woodpecker on a dead tree in one of the pools. Bird species of note seen were Great Spotted Woodpecker, Grey Wagtail, Chiffchaff, Wren, Robin, Moorhen and Tufted Duck. It was also nice to see two broods of Ducklings, consisting of four and seven little chicks and one Gosling brood of five chicks. The Mute Swan, Coots and Great Crested Grebe were still on the nest, so fingers crossed for next time.
