Shustoke Reservoir.

Another lovely trip to Shustoke Reservoir this morning, well it was lovely aside from the litter and people letting their dogs run wild, at least there was a lot less litter by the time we left.

Highlight of the visit was seeing a rather resplendent Yellow Wagtail who was clearly collecting insects to feed young, also seen were six Mute Swan Cygents and countless Mallard Ducklings as well as juvenile, Long Tailed Tit, Blue Tit, Starling and Carrion Crow.

Also especially nice to see were, Skylark, Common Tern, Song Thrush, Jay, House Martin, Swallow and a huge amount of Great Crested Grebe.

Birds seen today were, House Sparrow, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Greenfinch, Chiffchaff, Robin, Wren, Dunnock, Starling, Blackbird, Jay, Song Thrush, Skylark, House Martin, Swallow, Yellow Wagtail, Pied Wagtail, Woodpigeon, Jackdaw, Carrion Crow, Magpie, Cormorant, Common Tern, Mute Swan, Great Crested Grebe, Coot, Mallard, Tufted Duck, Greylag Goose and Canada Goose.
