Lady Bradford's, Castle Bromwich.

Welcome to my first post of 2012. First trip out of the year was to a sunny and fairly warm Lady Bradford's in Castle Bromwich. Birds spotted today were, Kestrel, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Jay, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Coal Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Starling, Wren and Robin. Lady Bradford's is a great place for a spot of birdwatching and observing nature, it's a large, partly forest and partly grassy land, which is exactly the same as it has been for hundreds of years (if you don't count the litter) The land was left to the people to enjoy by the Bradford family in the 1950's and can never be built on, as Wimpey and other building contractors will testify. It's nice to know that this piece of land will always be there for the wildlife and nature.
